Like horses, pain can result in changes of behaviour or performance in the dog. Physiotherapy may help your dog if he shows pain or stiffness, lameness, reluctance to exercise or has muscle wastage.
Physiotherapy can also be used to help maintain mobility and comfort in animals with long term conditions such as dysplasia or osteoarthritis, for neurological conditions or to aid rehabilitation post orthopaedic or spinal surgery.
It may also beneficial to help with performance issues in the working canine or the performance dog taking part in activities such as agility or flyball.
Other small animals can be treated – please contact me to discuss.
